Event Description: At its heart, the Texas A&M Spark Conference is an engineering design competition with a strict focus on inspiring K-12 students to explore the field of engineering. Spark is an event hosted annually by the Texas A&M Student Engineers' Council for K-12 students who are interested in engineering. The purpose of this conference is to increase student awareness, develop interest in engineering, and provide exposure to Texas A&M University’s culture and tradition. The conference will host several impromptu design competitions on-site for each age group, as well as a prebuilt team design competition offered to high school teams only. The on-site competitions are developed through partnerships with Texas A&M engineering societies and will feature a variety of engineering design challenges. Upon registration, students will be allowed to preference the competition that best aligns with their interests.
